In Town for PUNK? Visit the Dome!
In Carbondale for the Lost Cross 40th Anniversary weekend? Make another stop in Carbondale history with a special open house at the Buckminster Fuller Dome Home.
R. Buckminster Fuller was an architect, inventor, designer, teacher and one of Carbondale’s most unconventional thinkers. He and his wife Anne lived in the historic geodesic Dome Home while Fuller taught at Southern Illinois University.
Before Saturday’s music gets underway, stop by the Dome, meet some of the people working to preserve this piece of Carbondale history, and see the home of Carbondale’s Best Known PUNK.
Saturday, September 5
10 a.m.–12 p.m.
